Rupee is designed so normal on-device bookkeeping does not require cloud. Prices below are current product targets, not a substitute for live storefront checkout pricing.
* Target pricing from the current product plan. App Store checkout must show the live localized StoreKit price; web billing may differ when implemented.
Rupee can be used locally without sign-in. Cloud features are a separate, explicit layer and only become production-ready after authentication, HTTPS, backup, sync and entitlement checks are verified.
Core bookkeeping remains available on-device. Optional cloud sync is for people who want backup, multi-device access or web access.
A money tracker is most useful when the boundaries are clear.
The important answers, without the fine-print maze.
Yes. Core bookkeeping is designed to work locally. Cloud services are optional.
No. Local-only use does not require sign-in. Authentication belongs to the explicit Rupee Cloud flow.
Your existing data is not deleted or hidden. If you are above a Free limit, existing data remains readable/editable, but you cannot add another limited item until usage is below the limit or you upgrade.
Web access is part of supported cloud plans and uses a separate secure login page.
No. They are current product targets. Live App Store pricing must come from the storefront checkout shown to the customer.
Use Rupee locally today, then add cloud, web and sharing only when those features genuinely help.
